Anke van Keulen en Fuusje de Graaff
Anke van Keulen studied social pedagogy and worked in the field of parents and children of ethnic minorities, early childhood care and educational and educational issues. What she likes best about her work is developing and compiling educational material. In her assignments she likes to anticipate changes in society and gives shape to new ideas in professional practice: education and/or diversity are core concepts here. Working at a European level is a challenge to her. She is co-founder of the European network DECET (Diversity in Early Childhood and Training) and was its overall-coordinator from 2004 to 2006.
In DECET she cooperates actively with the International Step by Step Association (ISSA). She is active in Childcare International and the Joint Learning Initiative Children and Ethnic Diversity.

Fuusje de Graaff studied social geography and adult education. In her assignments she focuses mainly on intercultural communication and understanding.
She has ample work experience in various sectors (education, welfare, health care, development aid) and now focuses on assignments regarding health care. She provides training, coaches innovative projects and co-operations and does research. She is analytical and committed, wants to really go into complex situations in order to work, together with others, towards a world in which justice is done to each and every person. At the moment she is working on her thesis at the University of Amsterdam, researching communication between care workers and clients from ethnic minorities.
Specialisations of Fuusje: care and diversity, participation of clients from ethnic minorities, intercultural management and intercultural communication.
